Phi Phi Map - Dive Sites of the Phi Phi Islands
We The Phi Phi Islands stretch more than 15km from North to South with a variety of scenery from sandy beaches in the islands of Koh Yung and Koh Phai to the steep limestone cliffs of Phi Phi Ley and the Bida islands. The main town is located in the center on Phi Phi Don, and there are some resorts on other parts of Phi Phi Don. Everywhere else is uninhabited, and despite the huge increase in tourism over the last 10 years, the islands remain a natural wonder. The tsunami in December 2004 damaged much of the town, which is now being rebuilt, and there are places to stay. Over the next couple of years, the numbers of tourists will probably be lower, so the dive sites and places such as Maya Bay ("The Beach") will be less crowded and more beautiful than ever!
